City Hall’s Carillon in Place – some 20 tones of bronze bells and steel frame are inched very carefully on top of the new city hall’s clock tower, with help of the world’s largest mobile crane. The delicate job had to be delayed until gusty winds eased. The 23 bells were made in Holland and range in weight from 33 to 1 250 kilograms. July 10/92
