The project consists of the construction of an overpass at Whitemud Drive over 17 Street. The new interchange will better accommodate high traffic volumes, improve vehicle and pedestrian traffic safety, and reduce traffic delays. Improvements to 17 Street between 37A Avenue and approximately 400 meters north of Whitemud Drive will also be incorporated into the project.
